The Bio Rhythms of Kosmodrome represents a new way of looking at music. Instead of sitting down and coming up with parts and practicing the Bio Rhythms started as an idea a question. What would it sound like being shot into deep space?
We tried to answer that question in multiple parts from the sounds of engines thrusting pushing you deeper into space, to the sounds of computers humming. We felt that the overall mood of a space flight, unlike Bowie’s Space Oddity, would be a soothing feeling one filled with the desire to sleep. We tired to capture the essence of the equipment that would be on board a space craft. The radio signals beaming back to earth the sounds of the Kosmonaut. Sounds like his breath, heart beat, brain waves, etc.
We also did not want to focus on the Kosmonaut himself. We tended to believe that flying to a proto nebula would have a distinct sound to it, and the same could go for flying close to a star or black hole. Without ever talking to any former Kosmonaut or Astronaut this is truly an artistic representation of what we feel it would be like to float in space.
Please just sit back and imagine floating in space with no cares.
